Initial Ideas Proposal

 Name of Channel: Screamathon, 

Genre: Horror and Sci-fi, I am going to try and incorporate both

Give an overview of your idea for your TV channel advertising campaign:

I would like to use one or 2 of my 15 second adverts to show the range of shows that the channel has to offer

Advert 1

A family is watching a film on TV and they're all bored or falling asleep then an advert comes on the TV about a horror channel and they wake up and stare at the TV. the camera then zooms in on the TV and plays the advert showing a range of content the channel has on it.

Ideas for the advert

-a vampire covered in blood stood over its dead victim using a camera shot from a low angle or a murder standing over their victim holding a bloody knife 

-zombies walking towards the camera someone running away 

-screams 

-evil giggling

-witch making a potion

-blood dripping off of something maybe a knife

Advert 2

When the killer catches up, the girl sat with her family, see screams the camera zooms out from the TV and shows the family looking at her in confusion, awkward silence.

Advert 4

beings with a girl running into the wood or a house with someone walking after them 

they catch up to her 

zooms in on knife killer is holding a clean knife

the knife moves down as if to stab the person using a close up panning shot 

the screen goes black and you can hear a scream

the screams stop and the camera pans from the dead body on the floor to the killer holding a bloody knife with no facial expression from a low angle making the killer look powerful

How will this fit the requirements of the brief?

Can you explain how you will use media language in these 4 adverts? (Remember you can use repeated footage/material):

I would like to do two adverts to show the variety of shows/films they have to offer and focus on either one show or two separate shows in for the other two adverts

What do you feel you need more practice of in achieving your ideas?

More filming and working out what will work and actually look good in film
